All good points… although I personally found the Wifi situation to be not too bad… although I’m from Australia, so maybe my expectations are low :/

Totally agree about not being a stereotype – you see so many of them around Tokyo :(

I like your tips Tam.

I’m a little surprised that you recommend not buying a rail pass, as practically every blogger who has been to Japan says exactly that! However, the fact that you said one ought to fly makes complete sense! I did likewise in Thailand instead of taking the train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. I discovered that the price of flights were equally the same, so flew instead. Very practical, especially when you’re short on time!
