I used to learn Spanish at the university, but just like you I’ve “lost” the knowledge by not using it after graduation for over 5 years. However, I feel like resurrecting my Spanish language. And perhaps Rosetta Stone is just what I need. Thanks for sharing.

So happy you’re learning Spanish !! I minored in Italian and French in College and have sadly lost a lot of it. I return to France and Italy every year and find my skills just diminishing. I am gonna give Rosetta Stone a try so when I head back to France in a few months I am more confident !!

Good for you for learning. I was taking Vietnamese lessons when I first moved to Vietnam but quit about two months ago. This language is insanely hard! My boyfriend and I always say that we’re going to move to a Spanish-speaking country next because maybe we’ll actually be able to learn the language ;)

This was very informative. I’ve been trying to learn Italian and have been struggling, I’ll definitely have to try Rosetta Stone. I’m sure living in Merida will help you practice and become fluent much faster.

I’m currently learning Spanish with Rosetta Stone too, just because. It was bought for me as a gift and I love it! Can’t rate it enough. I wish I was living somewhere like Merida so I could put it into practice. You’ll be fluent in no time!

Oh wow those are some fun choices! Definitely practicing with locals helps a lot – it’s also intimidating though as I don’t feel “ready” and wished I’d started learning a while back!

I think it’s amazing that you’re learning Spanish and I hope it continues to help you fit in!! I would love to learn another language… I am between French and Arabic but I think living in a country where those languages were spoken would help a lot. I’ll definitely look into Rosetta Stone!
