I have been trialing the IT Luggage Megalite 4 wheel spinner 3-Piece luggage set during my travels here in the US. The set is on sale at eBags for $199, which for all 3 is a huge discount. It’s a great time for me to do this review! I also got some packing cubes that I took along on my recent travels to try out and see what all the fuss was about and write this IT luggage review!
In the last 2 years, Ben and I have broken four suitcases that have been handed down to me from my mom and even my grandparents. One from my grandma weighs about 10 pounds, and one from my parents doesn’t even have WHEELS! Seriously.
So, I am in need for actually a couple sets of luggage for Ben and I and ones with a warranty are important since we are constantly flying in crappy airports who possibly aren’t treating our luggage well.
Also, bloggers swear by packing cubes and I was excited to give them a try, so I packed up for a week in Florida with the medium size luggage and the packing cubes. I took photos along the way for another article. If you want to see everything I packed check out my Florida packing list because now, I’m just focusing on the luggage- not what’s inside.
When I got back to the US from India, the luggage had already arrived. I picked up the biggest piece of the 3 and asked my mom where’s the other two pieces? She’s like, they’re inside! This luggage is SO lightweight. Absolutely the lightest luggage I’ve come across.
IT luggage Review:
- 10 year warranty
- It’s new, just came out in February
- The carry-on is listed as approved for all airlines
- They claim this luggage as the world’s lightest thanks to high-density polyester
- 360 degree spinner wheels
There’s a lot I like about the bag. The material does feel really luxurious and although I was torn with getting this because of it’s soft material (I usually travel with hard shell luggage), it is way more durable than I imagined. So far, there isn’t anything I don’t like about the luggage. I think the largest one if I were to fill completely when I go back to India would be overweight, so most likely my large, lightweight things will go in there. I did notice after the first week bopping around Florida, you could see marks on the bag where the inside imprinted and pushed out.
eBags Packing Cubes
I got the packing cubes and luggage in grey because I’m boring like that- but they do have a lot of color options. The other bloggers who promote these cubes are definitely on to something- they keep things so organized in side the luggage. I can’t believe I ever traveled without them. I can imagine in a backpack it would be ever better.
In the pack I got, you get two large cubes, one long cube, and two small ones. I put t shirts and work out clothes in one big cube, and dresses, jeans, and shorts in the other. The long one was great for my brush, and full size shampoo and conditioner. One small one I used for undies, bras, and swimwear. The other small one has all my cords and extra tech things in it. Organization at it’s finest!

I love the cubes. Have a trip coming up to los angeles for the blogher conference that is where i will use them. Will make my trip so much easier. And am so excited first trip solo sans kid in 5 years. Yay!!
I would take mine to Australia for our honeymoon <3
I would love to have these cubes, I have one small one and I really like it. I would definitely use then on a cross country train trip I am planning for next year, and also to Europe.
I’ve been thinking about getting packing cubes. Last time I travelled my suitcase was a complete mess! Packing cubes seem like a great way to keep clothing organized and I also don’t have to reorganize the entire suitcase after rummaging through my things for a necklace!
I would use my packing cubes when I travel across the US to visit my daughters. I have heard a lot of great reviews and would love to see for myself.
I travel back and forth across the state for work, so probably someplace really exciting like Columbia, Missouri :-)
I kind of want to use these to organize dresser drawers…
I am planning a solo trip to Europe for next summer. I am planning on being gone for a little over a month and I no longer have any luggage due to theft. So I have been in the market for some anyways while I am getting ready for my trip.
on our trip to cali
I would use the packing cubes when I go to visit my cousins in Arizona in October.
Oooouuu… I really want to share where I’ll be taking my packing cubes, but that’s still top secret! ;)
I *did* just book a couple flights today though… and I’ll be heading to at least 2 new countries…
I’d take the cubes with me after the summer when I go to Mexico with my best friend.
Those cubes are genius! I am in the process of getting my travel blog off the ground and would love something like these to make travel easier and more organized. What a fabulous idea and fun giveaway!
I would LOVE to try these out on my upcoming Africa trip!!!!
My son and I would take the packing cubes to visit his grandmother.
I’ve never tried packing cubes but with so many swearing by them, I definitely think I’ll be trying them out soon!
I love the packing cubes! That looks so helpful. Thanks for the review! I would totally use the cubes for my next trip which is hopefully to India!
I would love to have those cubes to my trips in Europa and India. I’m traveling preety much and those could make my journey much easier and fun.
I use packing cubes, but they’re all one size. I’m loving the multiple sizes! I have a ton of trips scheduled and these would be perfect to organize everything, not just the usual clothes
I have dreams about my suitcases being that organized. I may have to consider trying packing cubes.
I would definitely take these to India as I am off for a month in August!
