The idea behind Next Vacay is genius and in my 3 year travel blogging and keeping up to date on travel websites and trends, I haven’t seen this pop up as an option. I really wish I was a tech person and could come up with software to do things like this. I am going to share this Next Vacay review and also how I have gotten deals using it.
Next Vacay Review.. spoiler alert, it’s amazing
Before I share about what Next Vacay does, I want to say who would love it:
- Frequent travelers who cannot seem to figure out frequent flier miles and ever get a discount
- Those who want travel hacking prices but can’t be bothered trying and don’t want to open credit cards for points and all of that struggle.
- People who get too excited about trips and just book them without researching, because they don’t have time for that!
- People who can travel with a couple of months notice
These are all VERY me and I can’t be alone. This is why I was so stoked about Next Vacay, so without further ado, I’ll share with you what it is and the sweet couple behind it!
Naveen and his wife, Shaylee, who live in Atlanta, made this software (because Naveen does fun things like that in his spare time!) which they used to search countless airfare sites to find cheap flights. They had plugged in the airports closest to them and limited the places that they would go to only useful, cool destinations, not just random places, as well as limits on only the best deals and money off. They would get alerts from their system saying only the craziest deals and started traveling a lot more making all their friends jealous.
They flew to India roundtrip for $300 each and Barcelona roundtrip for $600 each. They started helping their friends and eventually decided to share this with the world. Naveen took his father-in-law to Italy and got him a business class seat for $1500 roundtrip! That’s insane.
Their friends started getting the same flight deals. All of the following mentioned are roundtrip prices: wandering Paris for $425, chasing kangaroos in Australia for $580, ice-climbing in Reykjavik Iceland for $278, exploring downtown San Jose $273, and the watching the world’s best sunset at the stunning Greek island Santorini $393.
Oh, how I’d love to go back to Santorini…
“Every single deal is reviewed and assembled by hand by us. We know you have bosses and family to talk to before booking. This is why we do not send last-minute deals. We put ourselves in the shoes of someone who has to request paid time off and coordinate with a partner who also likely has to do the same. The deals we send include links to real ticket itineraries for desirable weekends like Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.” -Naveen
Iceland doesn’t look half bad either ;) images via Moyan Brenn
How Next Vacay Works:
- You put in your airport nearest to you (only US, Canada, Europe, & Australia).
- Sign up for the month free trial.
- You get emails that only relate to your nearby airports and cheap prices! The prices they said/mention on their site are round-trip.
- They give you instructions to book directly with the airline. I love this part as booking direct saves your ass if a flight is delayed or canceled. It just simplifies things.
- If you like it so far, you pay the $25 annual fee… which is insanely low.
- Don’t find a deal you like in 6 months? You get your money back!
I’d love a deal to Australia! image via Les Haines
Why is this so crazy?
You have to do NO work! People spend so much time travel hacking to save points to get flights that are $300 to India, but this way you just wait and until the mail comes saying “guess what, a flight to ___ is only __ on these dates!”. You don’t have to sign up to a bunch of newsletters that send out deals that don’t relate to you to obscure places.
“No other website monitors every single airport for deals. Other sites expect you to find your own way to a big city to take advantage of a handful of deals. We’ve found a way to get amazing deals for members in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Billings, MT so even folks in smaller cities are taken care of.”
“I can send deals from Atlanta to Tulsa or from Cleveland to Baltimore but the reality is… that doesn’t make most people excited. That’s why I send deals like to Atlanta to India for $718, NYC to Iceland for <$500 and so on.”
If you pay someone to help you travel hack, you will pay more.
If you want these prices from collecting points, it will take ages.
If you search these out yourselves, and are anything like me, you’ll never find these deals.
The craziest bit of all.. If you don’t find a deal you like in 6 months, you can ask for your money back, no questions asked.
Deals For Me | Next Vacay Review
I have been traveling internationally since I was 19 or 20 and I have STILL never figured out travel hacking, never gotten a credit card to get points, and although I’ve signed up for a million discount airline memberships, I have never taken advantage of one because I can’t figure out how they work.
If I am having issues, and feeling unmotivated, then maybe you are too. Next Vacay is the best solution I’ve seen yet.
I tried it out myself after setting up an account for Columbus, Ohio thinking I could find flights for my parents to India. The first week, I got an email from Naveen.
When my parents came to India in “peak season” two years ago, it was nearly $2,000 for each of their flights. I usually pay $1,200 and tend to get the best deals on United. I have gotten it as cheap as $900 before “off-season”.
Naveen’s system found a United flight on Thanksgiving (high holiday prices usually) for $900 there and back. I took my first of many flights to India almost 4 years ago and I haven’t gotten this great of deals around a holiday. In fact, we just booked Ben’s flight back through United for this summer (off season) as we had a voucher (because they lost our luggage in the past), and the flight was $1200. No bueno!
They send flight deals to only interesting places and only when it’s a great deal. Another one that came and I loved was this: Hong Kong for $900. You can see how personalized the emails are as well. They also send you over the itinerary and explain how to book through Google Flights.
I love that they send deals that make sense. If you got this deal and it was over a holiday, if can actually make sense for you to take it. With airline emails, it’s always “wow this flight to Tulsa at 3 AM tomorrow is only $100″… well great, who needs that!?
What’s next for Next Vacay?
They are a new company and small for now, with him and his wife being the team behind the website! They hope to grow and hire people in Asia to offer deals there as well. I love working with smaller companies because you get a seriously customized service. They are going to soon start offering more personalized options which make it even better for you to get to your dream destination.
“One of the most requested features is to allow our members to pick just one top spot in the world they want to go to next. We’ll then text members when that deal is on sale so you can take immediate action. For example, if you live in Columbus, Ohio and it’s been a your dream to go to Bali, you’ll tell us to watch out for Bali deals for you. We’ll then tell you that we found a $371 deal from SF to Bali and your flight from Columbus to SF is $400 making the total cost to go to Bali $771 from Columbus which is still at least a $1000 per person savings.
You can sign up on their website and follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. As a bonus for Hippie in Heels readers, they are offering the business class deal alerts for 3 months. Just use a link from this blog post which will let him know you came from the blog.
Tip: If you are planning a trip abroad do not forget two very important things: travel insurance and visa requirements. I choose to use World Nomads when I go abroad (it’s recommended by Lonely Planet). I also check on ivisa to see if I need a visa for the place I’m going!
I was compensated for my time in writing this next vacay review, but as always opinions are only my own! I am so glad I can now have someone else looking out for cheap flights for my parents – if one comes up to Europe at Christmas we are talking about meeting there!
Hi Rachel,
This is a great article! I had never heard of this company. Now, I’m really curious to use it and see for myself. I normally use Travelocity or go directly through the airlines, but it does not hurt to try someone new. Especially if a fellow travel blogger has already reviewed and tested them. The company must be good, as your review about them is good.
Thanks for sharing your post!
Best,
Ruthie
Hey Ruthie,
I hope that you enjoy them! They really are great – and if your airport doesn’t have a lot of great deals they will give you your money back no questions asked. Totally worth checking out :)
So this is legitimate? I’ve seen them on the newsfeed but no review of them. I would really like to try them out.
Yep, been using them for a couple of years and so do my friends and family!
Great review! I’ve never heard of the website but now I have to do my research. I’m definitely one of those people that doesn’t understand their frequent flyer miles. Is there also deals for domestic travel(within the U.S.)?
Hi Natasha – yes they do domestic travel as well :) and frequent flier miles… one of the many things on my list of “stuff to figure out”
Thanks for the info! I will have to tell my mom to sign up so she can hopefully grab a cheap flight to India.
:)
Good idea, that’s what I’m thinking too.
Omigosh, I love your blog! Can’t wait to sit down and really explore it :)
Thanks Michelle & welcome!
Now, this is a pretty cool concept. I’d definitely try it out!
Yes it’s definitely worth trying – there’s really no downside since it’s only $25 a year and if you don’t find a good deal you can cancel and get your money back!
Rachel how do we sign up and does this only work for the one destination or as many destinations as we like?
Hi Isis, it’s not the destination you set, it’s your departure airport. Then, you get emails of cheap flight from where you live.
I live in the UK and can fly out of most airports here. If I enter my local airport I could miss out on deals from other nearby airports.
I can save £400 by travelling from London Heathrow rather than Manchester or Birmingham to Bangkok for instance. But sometimes it is cheaper to fly from from these, or indeed a different London airport.
I need it to search all of UK.
Also I may choose to go to a completely different destination based on the cost.
I was originally going to Malaysia, but changed to Thailand because the price was £200 lower.
So without the ability to broaden the departure and destination points, it would not work for me.
Can you set more than one departure airport?
The price is so low….and if you don’t use it, you get your $25 back. That’s a no-lose scenario. What I would want to know most is domestic flights, as my kids live 2 provinces, and for the right price, dropping everything for the weekend would be awesome! Thanks for the info!
Really love the idea – really dislike the fact that as soon as I enter my email address, the first thing that pops up is a tiny box just asking for card details! :( Very impersonal and a little disappointing – the website is difficult to navigate. I need to have an idea of the deals I’m going to receive before I give my credit card details out willy-nilly!
Fabulous idea though and something I will definitely sign up to when I am feeling a little less cheap ;)
Great review also – feel free to check out my site. Happy travels!
Hi Joanne,
Thanks for your honest feedback! This is their first version of the site (it’s about two months old) so maybe after they start growing they will do a re-design. I can pass this along to them! I am going to be trying it out this year and will share on social media some of the deals I find, so you can see the stuff they offer :D
Hi Rachel,
I’d love an update to your reply to this comment by Joanne, 2 years ago.
Did they make any changes to improve customer relations and trust?
Did you book more flights with them since?
I’d love to hear some more, before I give it a try.
Thanks,
Sandra
PS, can you also send me a link to sign up from your blog, so I can get the extra benefit you mentioned in your blog? ;)
I saw Joanne’s comment which was that she didn’t want to put her credit card details – that is kind of the point of this though and doesn’t mean they are bad customer relations or trust issues. You have to put them in as it’s a paid-for service of $25 a year after the first month. You can cancel in the first month if you don’t like it and you won’t be charged. The link is in this article if you want to sign up, just click above. And yes, two years later I am still using them :)
Or you can work for an airline and use their travel benefits to fly anywhere while being able to NonRev on other airlines. Flew to London NonRev for $290 round trip for both my spouse and I. Now that’s a deal!!!
I always thought working for an airline would be a great job!
In that same camp.. have flown the world for free or just some taxes… other than being standby, it’s an incredible perk!
I am definitely in the travel hacking camp and admit it is difficult at the outset but if you follow some of the step by step guides (for instance I and some other bloggers have been running a 90 day challenge for beginners) it soon becomes the norm. In the USA taxes can be less than $10 so considerably less than hundreds (although sadly not that cheap in the UK). Saying that I still like the sound of this if it works so I’m going to check it out
i just signed up! yay! thanks!
awesome, hope you get some great deals!
This came up on my news feed and I am so glad I clicked! Just signed up on nextvacay’s site and can’t wait to get the welcome email!
Hi Amanda. I hope you get some good deals!
It takes so much work to find great flight deals and manage points, etc. This resource looks like a godsend! I will be signing up. Thanks for the thorough review, it’s great to know that something like this exists!
Awesome! Hope you get a great deal somewhere cool!
That looks great! We have a little airport and it’s hard to find deals from our island. We’ll have to try it out!
Very good to know . As an older 45 years traveling I always look for deals and places I just want to return to. I am at over 100 countries … Many many dozens of times also.
I love the hippie in heels name….
Awesome! I hope to make it to so many countries too :)
Love the article and the name ✈️ My son and I are planning to go to Tokyo for a nephew’s wedding. Can you help us get some great deals including accommodations????
Hi Rachel!
Thanks for the post. I travel to India when I can, love it there. Miss Goa terribly. I’m definitely checking out this site. Would love to finally get some better deals
Hi Stevie, awesome, I hope you get some good deals. I recently got one to India way cheaper than normal!
This looks great. My question is if I have a place in mind for next summer, cam I sign up and get sent good flight deals? Trying to take the WHOLE family to Maui between July and august…
Hi Rachel! I want to sign up but i’m afraid that this site sounds too good to be true. I need to be convinced! Thanks a lot!
Hi PJ, I feel ya! But it’s a free trial so you can cancel if in 30 days you don’t like the deals you get then you don’t get charged any money. :)
Love it! This just inspired me to want to travel again. So many places to go but never the time and money! Thanks!
WIsh I found your blog before I booked my trip to India! Would have loved to put Goa on my list of places to go. Oh well next time.
Yes there will always be a next time!
Sounds fantastic. Would it work for us Down Under?
Hi Rachel!
I’ve NEVER heard of such an awesome thing! I am excited to try it. I love to travel but expense is often an obstacle. Cannot wait to see what this brings!
Hope you get some great deals, Kate.
I joined in November and have yet to receive the first email. Contacted the company and he was going to give me an extra year. He never responded to my last email. Sorry, but this one is too good to be true. Goodbye $25!
Hi, Lynn. Sorry to hear that. I get deals out of Columbus Ohio at least 2x a week. It might depend on what airport you are near.
Do you fly out of Columbus? I would love to get a deal out of here:)
Columbus and Cleveland!
I live in Montana and my closest airport isn’t listed – am I out of luck?
Hi Shannon,
Not sure :( You should email naveen@nextvacay.com!
I managed to snag that $580 RT ATL to Sydney,AU last year. Now I’m spoiled!
What a deal! That’s a lucky booking :)
I’ve felt the wanderlust especially hard lately (maybe it’s my soul-crushing corporate law job), so I signed up. I’m so excited to see where I’ll go first!
Hey,
Thanks for this. My mother hasn’t traveled internationally & has a dream to go to Germany to discover her ancestry. I’ll be researching & probably signing her up for this.
Aw that’s so great!! I hope that she gets to go to Germany!
Thank you! I just signed up because I have a few trips I want to go on this year. I’m interested in seeing how it works more with specific location destinations. Great, thorough article!
Is there any ability to enter more than one departure airport? I live within a 90 minute drive of 3 different airport (2 international) and it would be nice to know about different options.
You enter your nearest and they add the 3 surrounding ones automatically
What if you live bear a Border will it look for both Canada and USA airports near you? Ie-if you live in Niagara Falls Canada what airports does it pick up?
Great article. Thanks forbtaking the time to write. Can I select dates I am looking to travel?
Hey Rachel! Firstly I just stumbled across your blog and I love it! I am from India itself and I am planning to travel abroad on my own this june! Is Next Vacay possible for indians to book!
Great article and I’m excited to try. I really hate looking for flights, I’m a total buy the first thing I see and then don’t save any money. Thanks for such a great idea.
Your endorsement was enough to make me sign up…I have been pounding my head trying to figure out ways to save on airfare so that I can go more places with my family and you may have just provided me answer.
Clear and concise blog post…thanks so much :)
I’m happy to help! I hope you get some great deals from this.
You’re article is somewhat misleading. You suggest that after signing up, a person can select their desired destinations, then receive deals that come up to those destinations. That is not a feature this site offers. Once you sign up, you put in your home airport, and receive an email for each and every deal out of that and nearby airports. In less than 24 hours I’ve received three emails with deals from three different airports– two quite a ways away– to three different cities, none or which I would have selected as places I want to go.
Actually, I say specifically that that is something they are working on. I have a whole section on “what’s next for Next Vacay” and interviewed them and they say that letting the customer choose a place is a next thing they want to do. I say they send deals only to interesting places that make sense for people time-wise, like over a holiday – I don’t say you get to pick the place yourself.
I’m skeptical of airlines I’ve never heard of… But I do appreciate your review and will take another look. Thank you.
Awesome article. After travel arrangements are made, is there a way to find out lodging, car rental etc?
not through nextvacay, but on my blog I have tips for over 60 countries!
how is this different that vayama , skyscanner or skiplagged? I have found great deals from these databases very often .
Those are flight search engines. This is an email that sends you deals from your airport. It’s like apples and oranges in that sense – you would use skyscanner etc if you had a flight you need to book from A to B. Next Vacay sends you deals from A to B when they are super low, even if it’s not something you are looking for, in the case you want to take a trip.
Your original post had comments from a year ago, so I am guessing it is about a year old. Just had this pop up on my feed today. So, a year later, what is your review of nextvacay having been signed up for a year? Get any amazing deals? Curious to hear a review, am not finding many reviews online..thanks!
Yes, I get crazy deals sent – but as I’m based in India I can’t use them until I’m in the USA as I have my Columbus (home) airport set. Still waiting for outgoing flights from India to be added – but for people based where they operate (countries listed in post) it’s fantastic.
I adore traveling, signed up for this last year and never received a single email. Maybe there were just no cheap flights from Mobile AL?
Hey Robin – that is surprising. I would imagine there must have been an error. Did you reach out to them to ask? I get up to 3 a day from them for Columbus, Ohio.
Are the prices for only the member? If my husband travels with me does he have to have his own membership?
Hi Shay! We know that our members travel with their travel partners, friends and family. Only one person has to have a membership account. You are welcome to buy tickets for your travel companions.
You just made this traveling nurse super happy! Will take a look, as I’m always looking for the next foreign adventure! Also-read your bio blurp–wouldn’t mind leaving nursing and doing something more creative (a little or a lot jealous).
Gypsy Nurse,
Jill
I hope you get a great deal! Have you done travel nursing? I did that before I left the USA and it’s amazing.
So fun!!! I look forward to using this. Thanks for being the awesome you that you are
I live in Australia, if I sign inn will I get deals for flight from here?
Yes, they should ask you your airport closest to you
Thanks for the tip, never heard of this and I am totally gonna give it a try. I’m constantly hunting for deals for my family. Great write up!
This just popped up on my feed today and I am really interested in signing up for it! I know in your post you mention they don’t currently service Asian airports for home locations, but they were trying to work with some Asian partners so they could. Do you knlw if this has been added yet? My husband and I are moving to Japan early next year and plan to do a lot of traveling while we are there!
I think AUS is added, but not anywhere else in Asia. I think they said India is next! So, not sure after that! You can email their support and they’ll know :)
I’m looking to go to Thailand in 2019 with family and ticket prices are so expensive everywhere they want 2,000 per person right now
Yep, it can be hard to find a deal. I hope that Next Vacay finds you one so you don’t have to stress.
Hi Rachel,
I just found your blog today and it totally amazed me. The honest posts, great reviews and timely response are few things that you find nowadays in the growing internet. I am glad I found your blog and nextvacay through your blog. I am gonna try this for my next travel and see it stands out best out of other travel sites.
Thank you.
So glad that you found my blog! Next Vacay has great deals. I have more tips on my site for other things about travel you can check out too :)
Found ad in Instagram. Let’s see if comments really work
Tripadvisor has a feature similar to this and it lets you choose your favourite destination, and then they will send you deal alerts on your email every week.
I honestly rather do my own research in skyscanner, tripadvisor or google flights, those 3 flight search engines have given me the best deals available on the days I want to travel, with way better deals a travel agent can give me!
HiH, you were my go to blog when I moved to India now this beautiful nugget landed on my Facebook page. Thank you for all your time and tips and thank big data for bringing me back to you. This company is getting my money. All the best, SS
Hey Samantha, so so so happy the blog helped you when you came to India! Nexy Vacay is worth every penny and more – but the best thing is if you are near an obscure airport and don’t get amazing deals, you can get your money back :)
I’m a little confused about the business class upgrade deal… are there subscription levels and/or more than one subscription option? Your blog only mentions the $25 annual fee, but based on the offer, it sounds like that subscription only provides alerts for economy class flights and that there are at least two subscription options. What is the annual price after 3 month offer if one wishes to continue getting business class alerts? And with this upgrade, would one receive business and economy class offers, or just business class? Or is there just the one subscription option, and this offer is good for a 3 month trial versus a one month?
Lorilyn did you get an answer to your business class upgrade question? If it is more expensive I’m curious to know if there is the same money back guarantee.
I really dislike that as soon as you join you ask for my credit card #! If you gomna offer a 30 days free trial, you should as for CC# until the end of the 30 days trial. Sorry, just my honest opinion! I might join if you take this out on day…
I meant you should NOT ask for a CC#!
J.C. If you’ve done many free trials, you’d know that it’s how every single site does them and you have to cancel before the next month – I’ve never ever seen one where you don’t give your CC first from Adobe to all my blogging tools to even Hulu or Netflix.
Anybody from Vancouver Canada signed up and got a deal ?
Just signed up! My daughter is moving to England in a couple of months and I’ll definitely want to visit her from time to time.
Tried signing up via your link to website. Enter email and home airport. When I hit the only available link (I’d like to learn more about this) I’m taken to Next Vacay site where the offer is one month free.
Hi Maggie – it does take you to their page to sign up. What is your question? Thanks.
Motivating… Can get My Nomad bug back!
Hi Rachel, thanks for sharing this beautiful information. I cant wait to sign up and start receiving deals. Anw, your idea about expanding through Asia is sick! It is going to be great and i hope one day you could expand it to Indonesia to, where i believe a lot of indonesians would be thankful for your awesome ideas. Once again thank you and best of luck!
Cheers
I just got back from Indonesia for the third time two days ago :) Bandung, Bali, Batam… I love Indonesia. It will be awesome once they expand to more places like where I’m based in India.
So I kind of feel like I signed up and a chat came up. I asked a question and it went away. Would I usually be redirected to a site to sign up pay etc?
Hi. Is this strictly for international or are US domestic deals also included?thank!
I signed up and would like add other airports. How do I do that?
Hi – do you offer tips on how to score deals for business class seats?
Do we get to choose the destinations we are interested in going to or is this more of a general around the world deals?
Hey! This sounds really cool. I just stumbled upon Next Vacay, but I’m wondering how legit it is? It sounds too good to be true?
I wonder if they can find the best rate for a 36,000 mile round-the-world ticket. With the exchange rate its much cheaper to buy in Goa than SF
I am so sad that this is not an option for those who live in South East Asia … sounds really cool tho !
I am not sure how all this works. Airlines do no discount off their reglar price or through a airline consolidator. They do not give one web site or another special pricing, they are all the same. So how can I save any money. Cruise lines do not discount anymore, and there are no last minute cruise pricing anymore because of all the complaints. So how can I save any money by using your site. Is just for info only?
Chris
Thank you for sharing your experience with “NextVaCay”. Just as other’s have mentioned, I just stumbled upon your blog. To attention to detail and enthusiasm was felt. Noting the date you initionally shared your review to now, has your experience changed? The last few posr which were more recent did not receive a response. Also i am curious why the owners of “NextVaCay” are not using this forum to address concerns or sincere inquiries. I would love to move forward with a membership and in addition encourage my friends and family to do the same. Your updated review and input from the company would make my decision a lot easier.
Thank you
Orelia, I do still use and love Next Vacay – I often share about it on social media. I do try to reply to all comments, but with over 1000 blog posts on Hippie in Heels some fall through the cracks. I get over 50 comments each day! But yes, still love them!
THANKS or them info info. I’ll check it out for sure.
Hi Rachel,
I love the Next Vacay notifications. We have not had a chance to take advantage of any yet but hope to this summer . I do have to say, I did have an issue when dealing with the trial session. Rather than air it out here, I’d prefer to hear from Next Vacay via email to address bc I’m sure I’m not the one who had this issue. Otherwise, I love the concept and the updates I receive. I especially enjoy receiving the “We know you don’t live in Dallas/Houston but we found great deals from these cities you may be interested in…” bc neither big city is too far away.
Cheers!
JTJP
Jamie you can email them at help@nextvacay.com :) glad you like it so far!
Rachel,
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing Next Vacay on social media! While I have not been able to use any of the deals, I am pleased to say that I am receiving 3-4 a week in my email. I can’t wait until I can take advantage of a deal and cross a destination off my bucket list.
Tracy
Yay! Great to hear that :)
I’m on the big island of Hawaii. Would they have deals for me? Most travel sites don’t offer for here
I wonder if most of the cheap flights have long/many layovers and poor travel times. This is typically what I expect from the the most affordable airfare.
Nope, I get deals all the time and they are often directs and ones with a short layover!
Doesn’t have my home airport as an option – Halifax.
Does it offer deals from Canadian airports, particularly Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta?
This will prob. only apply to people who live in the Continental U.S. It’s rare or nearly impossible to get these fares coming from the Hawaiian islands! We live on Maui & many international flights originate or fly out of Hnl, adding an extra $75-100 on top of the fare. Even flights to the West Coast are minimum $500 r/t, mind you that is the best deal around. I can’t imagine what airfares we could get to Europe or Asia from Hawaii! I’m sure I speak for many Hawaii people. So, would this work for us here on Maui too?
I’d like to see reviews from people who have actually booked flights on it. I like your take on the company and see you flown them but the only issue I have is I’ll see tons and tons of people commenting on the great idea but I’ve not seen anyone actually talk about the flights they booked and normal comments sections
Just go to their FB page – they “reshare” all their customer’s posts that tag them thanking them for their cheap flights. There are hundreds https://www.facebook.com/nextvacay/
I went to the website and signed up for the trial member. So this is only for flight but hotel is not included ? Is that’s the case I’m going to cancel. I rather pay for flight and hotel together instead of separately
Chris, this blog post explains exactly what Next Vacay is. It is for flights.
i’m a single mom with two kids – we love to travel, but budget is always tight. is this for us, too?
Yeah I think it would be perfect for you!
may give it a try
Said in Follow My Adventures that my email was wrong…
Hi, I loved your article and found it super useful! $25 is no expense for the deals stated above and a month free trial? THAT A STEAL!!! I was thinking of signing up but as soon as I try to make a profile it asks for my card information, many time I am very iffy about things like this because of issues before, I am thinking about traveling out of Houston and into Thailand this summer and was wondering if you knew an average from this site?
Hey Cristal, if you want to cancel they let your right away so no worries about putting your card in. No, sorry I don’t know specific rates for that as my home airport isn’t Houston.
Rachel, I do not see an answer from you to the question above from Ruby on March 27, 2018 about deals in the Hawaiian Islands. Will you please respond to her question? Thank you so much for the info.
Dowanna please see this post about Hawaii
Very disappointed my airport was not listed. I really wanted to sign up!!!
How long should we expect a notification from our departure Airport
Hi .. we want to travel Hawaii.. so can u plz sent us some good deals… we r member of 5 including having 1 yrs baby .,
Thnx..
Thank you for sharing
I would really want to join, but YHZ (Halifax Stanfield Intl Airport) is not on the list Would it be possible that it’ll be included in the airport list? Thank you!
Great article! How is it different from Hopper? I just came back from a European vacation, flights purchase on Hopper. I’d like to compare these two to see which could save me even more money on my next adventure.
Thank thank thank you forsuch an informative article. I travel throughout the year and I have a domestic travel plan as well
Two caribbean trips in September and November. Im planning my 50th for next year with travel to Paris, Rome and Barecleona so I am signing up today.
Thank you again
Can you choose more than one home airport? I am lucky enough to live within travel distance to SEVERAL major airports.
You choose your main one and they add in the ones closest to you (or it could be updated now where you can choose them yourself).
If Halifax or St. John’s were airport options, I’d join.
Hey Rachel, is this deal available for existing members of Next vacay?
I would love to look at it before being prompted for my card details. I was all ready to sign up for my trial and then it asked me for card details, so I clicked out :-(
Hey Fiona, that is the norm for companies that give you trials. I just signed up to a 30 day gmail g-suite trial and had to give my card details. The point is if you don’t cancel on the trial, they then charge you
Great article! I’m curious, as I live in Australia Can I use it from here?
I have to say I am quite jealous of you! I wish I could just leave nursing behind, go live in an exotic international local, and earn a living writing about my adventures. Good for you!!
Hi Michael! Have you thought about travel nursing? That is what I did first. The healthcare covers you in between assignments so you can take time to travel plus you make a heck of a lot more money :) You can even start in your home state – I think it just has to be 50 miles away from your home address.
Hi Rachel! I am actually doing travel nursing now. I just finished an assignment in Barrow, Alaska and was supposed to go back for an extension after a vacation, but they overbooked so they cancelled my new contract last minute. Currently working on getting my next contract now :) I’m already looking forward to my next vacation! The hard part is always deciding where to go next. India is definitely on my bucket list, and I imagine that you are having a great time there now!
Hi Rachel love the article and the ideal thank you for sharing. I live in a border town and use two airports as my home airport Buffalo New York USA and Toronto Ontario Canada. Can I use two home airports?
Interesting I will have to try it out!
Can you enter more than one departure airport? I live close to 2 airports! Or do you pay the $25 for each airport?
You enter one and they give you deals on the surrounding airports that are near that one. Example: I am between Columbus and Cleveland so put Columbus but gets deals on both of those and even some Pittsburgh and Chicago when they are amazing and maybe worth driving for. Those extras are free with the $25
Hi Rachel, came across your blog through Facebook and thank you for shaing this article! Me & my husband are planning to move to Puerto Vallarta next year & definitely will be a great adventure for us:) I see you live in Mexico now, any advice or suggestions for newcomers?
Awesome info! I’m in!
Sadly i couldn’t try it free for 30 days without providing my credit card.
Hi Cyndy – Yes, you do have to provide it. That’s how free trials work in most cases, even something like Amazon Prime :)
Is there a minimum travel or minimum booking per year agreement?
No, you just decide which deals you like and want to book or don’t
Hi, you list Australia as one country who can sign up for deals… Do you have many deals which come up regularly through out the year please. Your total cost is $25 for one year with you there are no other charges involved? Thanks
Can you filter where you want deals for from your airport like Europe and mexico etc of will it be random and can you filter amount of days for vacation? I’m looking forward to getting it in February to try it out. I’m just not 100 percent sure yet since it’s so new to me
I used to use NextVacay but switched to PlaneSurfers a few months ago. They send me even more deals and they’re always 2-3 days ahead of NV. Love your blog!
Thanks so much. Just curious if they find deals on business and or first class?
